Tonight on Queer Voices, we speak with Barry Mandel about his life and activism over the decades. Barry is the President of Discovery Green. Today, he is just as indefatigable in his good works, serving as chairman of the board of Undies for Everyone Find out more about Barry, his journey through the AIDS crisis, and the ethos of service that has defined his career.

Then, we speak about the death of Asia Foster. The 22-year-old, a black transgender woman, has been identified as the person found shot to death Friday, November 20th on a west Houston roadside. She is the first transgender woman murdered in Houston this year and is believed to be the 38th transgender, non-binary or gender non-conforming person killed this year in the U.S., according to the Montrose Center. We speak with local activist Diamond Stylz about this murder.
